I found everyone i dealt with incredibly responsive and approachable. Everyone has been incredibly supportive and understanding whilst I went through my titration. Since being diagnosed and taken seriously my life has changed hugely. I am so much happier in my skin and whilst I still have ADHD I am more accepting of myself and my mood is much more stable.

I got diagnosed much quicker than I thought I would, and when I would contact them they would get back to me as soon as possible. They handled my concerns and worries with care, and everyone I spoke to during this process was so supportive and kind.

I was under the right to choice service and was allocated a prescipter to start ADHD meds. My prescripter Tracie was amazing rom start to finish. She was professional, clear and supportive. This service and experience has made my life much more bearable and saved my life. Thank you so much

Really impressed with the service and care offered - it was great to be kept so informed constantly throughout the entire process and to feel like I was being listened to. I have had a say in every single step of the process which has really settled me mentally. The prescriber I was allocated was amazing - speedy to reply to any queries and let me guide the process which has been a great help. It feels amazing to have been listened to and given a reason for struggling for so many years! Would thoroughly recommend.

I can not put into words how brilliant my experience with Psychiatry UK has been. I was referred in February 2023, via my GP using the right to choose pathway, and had my assessment for ADHD the following August with Dr Balu Pitchiah, I then started titration in December with Helen Hardcastle and have found a medication which has changed my life. After years of feeling “different” and wondering why everything was such a struggle, I have answers and now the tools to deal with my struggles. Everyone I have dealt with at Psychiatry UK has been professional and taken the time to reassure me and find a solution if I have had any issues. I would highly recommend this service and have personally recommended it to several friends and acquaintances.

Psychiatry UK were incredible from the start! I was initially referred in late 2022 and had my assessment within 6 months in April 2023 and I started treatment in September 2023. I felt fully supported from start to finish! Communication is second to none from the admin team. My assessment appointment (with Dr Richard Mellor) over ran and instead of rushing me through he booked a second appointment to complete this stage in full and really took time to fully understand my history and my current presentation. My titration and treatment plan was led by Lorraine Forsyth and all of my worries were taken seriously and addressed so I felt fully safe and supported. I wasn’t rushed to complete titration and it was clear Lorraine was working with me to find the right dose. The whole process has completely changed my life, and I am so grateful!

I chose to go with psychiatry uk through the NHS to get my adhd diagnosis and it really has completely changed my life. I would like to say a big thank you to Lorraine Forsythe and the whole team. It been a really positive experience that has helped me so much, all the staff have been so lovely and helpful. I would recommend psychiatry uk to anybody.
